Every aspect of the economic, social and political situation devolves further into deeper deterioration. That is very instructive to observe because that same process happens virtually in every country, the difference is that in Detroit it cannot be hidden and lied about as easily as everywhere else. The urgent need for a compehensive NEW PICTURE - a clearly visible compelling ALTERNATIVE - that is not the old and dead "alternative", but a NEW ALTERNATIVE - is emerging with ever greater force. New Work is an attempt to create such a new, clearly visible, comprehensive BIG PICTURE.
